Bell at Sacred Trinity

I went up the tower yesterday to get some photos of our bells at Sacred Trinity and here is one of the photos. We have a pretty good set of bells and a nice lot of ringers who practise on a Tuesday evening. I keep meaning to have a go myself sometime. Bell ringing is a very mathematical process that's quite intriguing. As a Brian Eno fan, I find his "Bell Studies For The Clock OF The Long Now" really good and helps to understand a bit about bell ringing. Read about that album here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_07003:_Bell_Studies_for_the_Clock_of_the_Long_Now
