Sad day in General Synod

 

This is the ceiling in the assembly hall of Church House. I spent a lot of time looking at this today as I listened exasperated by many of the speeches. There are some lovely, lovely people on General Synod but there are also some very strange & sad people. Some thoughts on today's vote are here: http://manchestercleric.blogspot.co.uk/
