Hooray, the new signs are going up on Chapel St. Hopefully people will be able to find us more easily now.

Free at last!
For the past 5 weeks my right hand has been in captivity. After a careless motorist drove into me it's been in plaster. I had two fractured metacarpals. They're better now though, so my hand has been freed. It was a bit smelly and very stiff but I've cleaned it up now and will keep exercising it until I get full movement. I am also planning to not break any bones for a bit!

A sacred chip at Sacred Trinity?
We often get Pizza & Chips from across the road on a Tuesday lunchtime but I've never previously got a cross shaped crisp. Slightly weird. A message, maybe?

Anna visits the sea at Formby
It's a cold day but we'd decided we were going to go out and so go out we did! We went over to Formby and Anna got to see the Sea for the first time - she's from Hungary which is a long way from any sea. Anyway words to describe Formby today... Cold, Bleak, Beautiful, Open, Windy, Windswept, Bracing, Big sky, Wet...

New bridge over River Irwell
On Sunday they lifted the new footbridge into place. It goes from just next to the Mark Addy pub to Spinningfields. It's not open yet as they presumably have to do quite a bit to it. On Sunday night we saw the huge crane turning into Chapel St from New Bayley St and struggling to turn the corner... it was seriously massive. Soon we'll have more bridges than Venice but I'm not complaining - I like bridges.
