The band are called Derision and they're making a video in our Crypt at St Phil's, which is very exciting.

It looked pretty good as they're filming it, so I'm sure the finished work will look really good.

Went for a run around Westgate-on-sea this morning

St Philip's Church on Film

Our Eloise has made this great little film about St Philip's. People talk about what they like about St Phil's, how long they've been coming and they talk about their baptism. I find it quite moving. They are genuinely a lovely bunch of people!

CPO notices have gone up at last

 

we've been waiting a while but at last a Compulsory Purchase Order is being published for lots of the derelict buildings and sites down Chapel St. I see this as real progress. I've found a bit more information about it here: http://www.propertyweek.com/news/news-by-region/north-west/salford-submits-chapel-street-cpo/5012867.article. It will be great if we start to see some new building happening soon.
