Jumbled Ivy at Sacred Trinity

A great evening of music by students from Salford University. Really good stuff. I've posted some more photos on Picasa. They were all good. The choir were very impressive. I didn't take any photos of Samson and Delilah because I took loads when they played at Trinity in November but I've put a couple of them onto picasa for completeness. Picasa is here: http://picasaweb.google.com/the.andy.salmon/JumbledIvyGig?feat=directlink

New Art club at St Phil's

We've started a new Art Club at St Phil's on Wednesday afternoons, (1-3). We're doing tasters to see what people want to do more of. Week 1 we did photography and this week we learnt watercolour painting (well started to learn). Next week is part 2 of painting then we're doing more photography and then creative writing. There was a really lovely atmosphere on Wednesday, with people having a go and doing some really lovely work.

Rocks and lots of them.

Lots of really impressive rock formations along The Roaches in Staffordshire.

Camping in the Peak District - the White tent is ours

Our rather lovely bell tent is obvious in this picture as is the big hill behind us.

Where's the bull?

This was the field next to the one we were camping in, with a scary warning about the dangerous bull... and yet an open gate?!!
