Building coming

Not long ago this was a demolition site and now the new building is quickly going up. The nice tower in the background is St Phil's. They've started demolishing Albert Mill which is right near here this week so there's lots going on in our community at the mo!

Boris play Trinity

Boris, the cult Japanese Drone Metal band recently did a gig at Sacred Trinity Church in Salford. You may or may not have heard of them but the gig was very good and was a sell out!

Cycling at Clifton Country Park

This was part of a "bike week" event. Cycling is such a great way to get around and somewhere like the country park where there are no cars is a good place for a family ride.

Tiny Frog

This tiny frog (or is it a toad?) was one of many crossing the path at Clifton Country park. Isn't it cute?

The right way round

Ok i've not really mastered this bloging thing but heres another photo of the base of the weather vane at Trinity all nicely renewed.

Bizarre signs i've seen!

This was in the window of one of the restaurants on the Curry Mille in Rusholme. A chief wanted? At least they realise their need of leadership. And as I took the photo the guys inside smiled at me!

Sacred trinity tower

At last the scaffolding around Trinity's tower is about to come down. Work is nearly finished which includes painting the weather vane. The clock has also been repaired and the roof structure had to be rebuilt all because of storm damage in January.
