My new mug.

 

This was my wording and I know I shouldn't laugh at my own jokes but I find this funny. Fortunately our Abby laughed too. The mug was a present from Peter & Sita, our bestest neighbours.

The "pop-up cathedral" is popping up!

Official Launch of Greengate Square

Yesterday I went to the official Launch of Greengate Square, which is on the site of the old Salford Bus Station on the other side of the river from Manchester Cathedral. We had a few speeches and music from Eileen from Creation Cafe, Manchester Sing Out Choir and Manchester School of Samba.

 

 It is a genuinely lovely space and the fountains look tremendous at dusk.
